The Jakobstad region took part on 12 May in the digital EURES recruitment fair “Go North.” The region was represented with its trilingual “Work Here!” webpages, including links to employment services and the job market. Companies and organisations not yet featured on the platform are encouraged to get in touch to be included.
This time, the fair gathered 73 exhibitors offering a total of 520 direct job opportunities. The region also hosted its own dedicated Teams information session, attracting around 10 interested participants. In addition, the region’s profile on European Job Days remains continuously accessible.
Through digital EURES events, employers can arrange interviews and receive applications online. EURES serves as the shared European labour market portal, where users can register as both employers and jobseekers. The platform hosts over one million CVs from registered users, and candidate searches can be conducted 24/7. Registered employers can also publish their own vacancies directly on the portal.
