Why the Jakobstad Region?

People living in the Jakobstad Region have more free time than others. This is due to the short distances. Picking up the children from kindergarten takes just a few minutes and even if you live in the city centre, the sea and nature are always close by. After work, there’s a wide range of leisure activities to choose from. We call it quality of life.

There’s also a lot of choice when it comes to accommodation, and you get more for your money. You can choose to live comfortably in an apartment in the centre of town, in a house in the countryside or in a newly built semi-detached house in one of our five municipalities.
