We have now launched the English version of the Jakobstad region’s Invest In website.
First and foremost, the site is there to help external investors and companies considering a location in the region find information about what we offer: logistics and infrastructure such as roads, rail and air connections, resources such as energy and water, and the industrial areas available.
And perhaps most importantly: which plots are available, and on what timetable, if I want to establish a business in the region? And who can I contact for further discussions?
But we are also doing this for the existing business community and residents of the Jakobstad region. Do we really know what our region has to offer? We are all ambassadors when it comes to attracting the companies and people we want to bring here.
The existing business community also has an important role to play. We have a diverse and strong entrepreneurial culture that can grow in many ways alongside new developments. We can build, plan, maintain and develop.
And if the population grows, both private and public services will be needed.
We welcome feedback and ideas on how the website could be developed further.
