Close to history and the rhythm of the town, with shopping and nightlife in varied forms. Bilingualism is one of the region’s strongest calling cards. The region is part of the Swedish-speaking coastal strip and Swedish is the main language. Nonetheless, all municipal service is bilingual (Finnish and Swedish) and you will notice that even private organizations and companies provide service in several languages.
